Silverstream Medical Centre provides primary healthcare services, alongside pharmacy and physiotherapy services, to more than 3,500 patients in Kaiapoi and surrounding North Canterbury communities.
Partnering with Webtools, Silverstream Medical Centre are leveraging Centrik’s modern technology platform to enable their patients to access their health summary, book and check-in for appointments, request repeat prescriptions, and message their primary care team, all from Centrik’s own Well app.
Centrik uses FHIR and the Medtech ALEX® platform to integrate with Medtech’s Evolution and 32 practice management systems (PMS), making deployment quick and frictionless for the Silverstream team. Event-driven integration with the ALEX® platform means only the data that is required and consented for is accessed from the PMS in real time.

Webtools work in collaboration with General Practice to design and build Centrik, with the objective of addressing pain points in primary care and using technology to help drive better health outcomes for patients.
Silversteam Medical Centre joins a growing number of practices across Aotearoa New Zealand who are implementing Centrik including; Green Cross Health’s network of medical centres, Better Health Group, Queenstown Medical Centre, Waitaha Primary Health, and Phoenix Healthcare Group in partnership with Third Age Health.
